This is not just a resource page. It is a growing library of tools, guides, and references designed for those who believe in the power of collective memory and creative resistance. The Library of Resistance is where practice meets principle, where artists, survivors, researchers, and organizers can access the knowledge needed to build ethical, collaborative, and justice-driven projects.
Whether you are documenting stories in exile, organizing a participatory archive, or facilitating community-based art, this space is for you. Our resources are open-access, multilingual when possible, and grounded in lived experience.

Toward a Living Archive

Memory as Resistance. Knowledge as Action.
In the future, this library will evolve into a living archive, a space where art, testimony, and collective documentation converge.
It will include curated collections of visual work, recorded interviews, and contextual materials from our creative and community-based projects.

Glossaries & Reference Sheets

Words Matter. So Does How We Use Them.
Language is political. In this section, we aim to develop critical glossaries that unpack the terms often used in human rights, displacement, and art-making, ranging from “survivor” to “archive,” and from “collaboration” to “neutrality.”
These short, accessible texts will help artists, activists, and researchers reflect on the ethics of language and representation.

Guides & Toolkits

Coming Soon: Practical Tools for Collective Creation*
We are currently working on a series of downloadable guides to support memory work, community storytelling, and creative collaboration in contexts of displacement, violence, and resistance.
These may include:
Guides to participatory filmmaking in marginalized or exiled communities
– Toolkits for ethical oral history practices with survivors
– How-to manuals for setting up grassroots archives or memory spaces
– Creative safety and consent frameworks for artists working in high-risk contexts
